Course Format

Recorded Live Webinar with downloadable presentation slides and/or handouts, evaluation, and a required quiz. The learner is required to pass with a 70% or higher to achieve the CE certificate of completion. The learner is able to reset the test until a satisfactory score is achieved. CE Training Workshops, LLC, provider #1770, is approved as an ACE provider to offer social work continuing education by the Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB) Approved Continuing Education (ACE) program. Introduction
Objective 1 – Define and determine the differences between administrative and clinical supervision roles.
- Define clinical supervision.
- Define administrative supervision.
- Identify the do’s and don’ts of both.

Objective 2 – Learn how to effectively conduct assessments – Self-Assessment and Supervisee Assessment to inform professional goals.
- Discuss the “why” of conducting a Supervisee Assessment.
- Name the important elements of a Supervisee Assessment.
- Discuss the importance of supervisee Self-Assessment.

Objective 3 – Examine and process stumbling blocks identified through the assessment process.
- Identify stumbling blocks.
- Distinguish the stumbling blocks as viewed by the supervisee and supervisor.
- Apply the knowledge to a case.

Objective 4 – Review and address supervisee burnout, cultural competence, transference, and countertransference via case studies and videos.
- Identifying and addressing supervisee burnout.
