Meet Your Facilitator

Aimée Ryan Bellmore, PhD, LCMHCS, LPC, is a mental health researcher, scholar, and practitioner with a specialty in working with survivors of trauma. She has been a licensed mental health provider for over twenty years and worked in a variety of different settings, including residential treatment and corrections.

Currently, she has a private practice that serves immigrant communities where she provides psycho-social evaluations for individuals seeking asylum, victims of crime, and survivors of human trafficking. In addition to her private practice, she works full-time as a dean of students and supervises mental health, wellness, and crisis management services for 15,000 undergraduate and graduate students.

Aimée earned a master’s degree in transpersonal counseling psychology from Naropa University and a PhD in social work and social research from Portland State University. Her career spans over two decades and includes academic teaching and scholarship, program evaluation, trauma intervention research and publications, social advocacy, and leading organizations to build conscious awareness and positively affect individual and community change.
