Exploring Trauma Informed Care in Practice (2HR)
Trauma Informed Care practices are necessary to support all clients. This webinar will explore trauma-informed care practices with clients. Discover how to ask about trauma, handling disclosures of trauma, and concepts of relating, responding, and providing effective resourcing. Several clinical resources for supporting clients in trauma recovery will be discussed, including a video demonstration of a trauma-informed intake with a client.
Upon completion of this training, participants will be able to:
- Identify key principles of trauma informed services
- Describe methods of therapeutic care centered on trauma informed care principles and practices
Social workers completing this course receive 2 hours of Clinical asynchronous continuing education credits.
For other board approvals, this course qualifies for 2 hours of Clinical continuing education training.
