Chronic Pain Management: Non Pharmaceutical Interventions (1.5HR)
Chronic pain impacts every area of a person’s life, both physically and well as emotionally. In this training, you will learn how to best serve clients who are engaged in this struggle. We will explore a variety of drug-free psychological strategies to manage pain so that clients can improve the quality of their lives.
Upon completion of this training, participants will be able to:
- Discuss how chronic pain impacts a person’s life
- Identify at least three therapeutic modalities, such as CBT and ACT, that have been proven to positively impact chronic pain
- Practice at least five non-pharmaceutical tools to manage chronic pain
This course qualifies for 1.5 CE hours of Evidence-Based Practices and General Skill Building training.
