This advanced training helps clinicians identify and treat symptoms of nervous system dysregulation in clients with trauma, chronic stress, or fatigue syndromes. Participants will learn how to assess for sympathetic (fight/flight) and parasympathetic (shutdown) dominance, and how to apply somatic, behavioral, and psychoeducational interventions to support regulation. Key concepts include polyvagal theory, “body budgeting,” arousal mapping, and resourcing tools that support return to baseline. Case examples will be presented as well.
Upon completion of the webinar, participants will be able to:
- Recognize patterns of nervous system dysregulation and their clinical presentations
- Use somatic and psychoeducational tools to help clients shift states and restore regulation
- Teach clients to apply body budgeting and arousal tracking in daily life
