This 3-hour interactive training explores the critical process of addressing and repairing ruptures in clinical supervision. Participants will delve into the nature of supervisory ruptures, their impact on the supervisory alliance, and effective strategies for repair. Meet Your Facilitator

Ericka Cables, Ph.D., LPC, NCC, ACS is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and an approved supervisor in Missouri. She also holds additional credentials as a nationally certified counselor (NCC) and Approved Clinical Supervisor (ACS). She has nearly a decade of experience in the mental health field as a counselor educator, trainer, researcher, clinician, and supervisor. She is an avid proponent of community-based partnerships and successfully secured several to migrate mental health needs for high-risk populations. She has conducted numerous presentations in the local St. Louis country, as well as on a national level.

She holds a PhD in Counselor Education and a MAC in Professional Counseling and School Counseling K-12. She is the founder of the Institute of Cultural Wellness, LLC. (formerly Thoughts Out Loud Counseling) where she seeks to equip mental health professionals and community partners with the necessary training, education, and resources by empowering them to enhance tailored cultural wellness services that address the specific needs of the individuals they support. Additionally, she serves as the Vice President for a St. Louis-based non-profit with a mission to impact systemic poverty through prioritization of social and emotional health.

Dr. Cables is trained in TF-CBT and EMDR. Her specialties include trauma, resilience, professional identity development, and clinical supervision.
