This webinar is an adoption-focused training designed for mental health professionals and social workers who work with adoptive parents. We will explore how adoptive families can establish a strong foundation (roots) while fostering resilience and independence (wings) in their children. Participants will gain insight into the complexities of adoption, including attachment, identity formation, loss, and trauma.

This course emphasizes the importance of connection, healing, and growth in therapy through interactive discussions and evidence-based strategies. Dr. Tasha Moses, PsyD is a compassionate and accomplished mental health professional based in Rock Hill, SC, originally from Atlanta, GA. With over 20 years of dedicated experience in human services, Dr. Moses specializes in women’s wellness, trauma-focused therapy, and culturally responsive care. As the Founder and CEO of the Women’s Wellness Spa Café (WWSC), she champions a holistic and community-centered approach to women’s health, fostering an empowering environment where women can embrace their authenticity and pursue personal growth without judgment.

Dr. Moses holds a Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) in Behavioral Health Leadership and multiple certifications, including Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT). Her practice addresses a range of challenges, including anxiety, depression, self-esteem issues, relationship dynamics, personality disorders, and codependency.
