This webinar invites you to deepen your understanding of attachment theory and its application in helping clients heal attachment wounds. Basing our work in neuroscience and relational psychology, we will explore how early attachment experiences shape patterns of connection, trust, and emotional regulation. However, it is one thing to understand one’s particular attachment style and another to know what to do about it. Therefore, the focus will be on learning practical strategies to identify and address attachment-based fears, such as abandonment and rejection, that often manifest in maladaptive behaviors or relational difficulties. You will learn how fostering safety, co-regulation, and emotional attunement act as pathways to help clients move from fear and insecurity to love and connection.

We will explore evidence-based approaches such as emotion-focused therapy (EFT), mindfulness, and somatic techniques. You will gain tools to help clients build secure relational patterns, repair ruptures, and cultivate self-compassion in the face of vulnerability. Special attention will also be given to recognizing and working through therapist-client dynamics influenced by attachment styles. By the end of the training, you will feel equipped to guide clients on a transformative healing journey, empowering them to form healthier, more fulfilling relationships with themselves and others.

Upon completion of the webinar, participants will be able to:

  • Differentiate between the different types of attachment styles
  • Describe how each attachment style is created
  • Explain how attachment wounds impact a person as an adult
  • Summarize how to address each attachment style clinically
