Generation Z’s post-pandemic culture includes rapid technological advances and mind-boggling trends that baffle mental health clinicians almost as much as their parents. As a result, helping professionals are faced with shifting theoretical approaches, clinical techniques, and cultural considerations to meet the needs of these clients and their families. This webinar will provide updated information on Generation Z’s culture, theoretical applications, and specific needs to ensure we are meeting these clients where they are while ensuring inclusivity and understanding when bridging the gap with older family members.
Upon completion of the webinar, participants will be able to:
- Articulate the unique factors specific to Generation Z’s worldview that impact clinical mental health work.
- Apply counseling theories and techniques through a culturally competent lens when working with Generation Z clients and their families.
- Analyze their preparedness to provide culturally responsive care to this unique population.
