This course equips clinicians with practical, evidence-based techniques for supporting clients presenting with non-complex trauma and micro-trauma. Participants will gain foundational knowledge on differentiating non-complex trauma from more severe cases and understanding the impact of single-incident trauma. The training covers trauma-informed care principles, including establishing a safe therapeutic environment and building client trust. Clinicians will learn effective assessment tools and evidence-based interventions such as cognitive-behavioral techniques, exposure therapy, and mindfulness exercises for managing trauma symptoms.
