This webinar provides mental health professionals with practical strategies to help clients identify and challenge unhelpful thinking patterns using core Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) techniques. Participants will learn how to recognize common cognitive distortions, guide clients through cognitive evaluation and reframing, and utilize structured tools such as thought record logs and the “evidence for or against” technique. Emphasis will be placed on increasing clients’ awareness of automatic thoughts, promoting balanced thinking, and enhancing emotional regulation through cognitive restructuring. The course includes clinical examples and hands-on practice to strengthen therapeutic application across diverse client populations.

Upon completion of the webinar, participants will be able to:

  • Identify and explain common cognitive distortions and apply CBT-based techniques to help clients reframe unhelpful thoughts.
