This interactive ethics training creates space to explore these tensions thoughtfully and transparently.

Grounded in the Code of Ethics, HIPAA standards, and ethical decision-making models, this course supports clinicians in navigating the evolving landscape of AI-assisted notetaking. Through case studies, reflective prompts, and discussion, participants will examine how AI intersects with their responsibilities to clients, records, and the profession. You’ll consider the potential risks—like data privacy concerns and algorithmic bias—as well as the possibilities AI offers for improving documentation quality, especially for providers with high caseloads or documentation challenges.

This trauma-informed and accessible Zoom-based training includes real-world scenarios and guided application of an ethical decision-making model. Participants will be invited to draft their own ethical AI documentation guidelines—whether for personal reflection, supervision, or future agency policies. Breakout rooms are not required; engagement will include polls, optional chat responses, and individual exercises.
