This webinar equips clinicians to support clients experiencing health anxiety and medical trauma, common but often overlooked clinical presentations. Using trauma-informed interventions including CBT and narrative therapy, participants will learn how to identify avoidance patterns, reframe catastrophic thinking, and help clients tolerate uncertainty in health-related contexts. The webinar includes strategies for working with clients with chronic illness, past medical mistreatment, or fear of medical procedures, and offers psychoeducation tools for use with individuals or families.
