Polyvagal therapy is a therapeutic approach that focuses on understanding and managing the body’s response to stress and trauma by utilizing the knowledge of the vagus nerve and its role in regulating emotions and behaviors, aiming to help individuals achieve better self-regulation, improve connection with others, and build resilience through techniques that activate the “calming” part of the nervous system, often used to address the impacts of trauma and social interaction challenges. In this webinar we will focus on key points such as the Polyvagal Theory, Vagus nerve, goal of regulation, and therapeutic techniques.
