This engaging and practical webinar introduces clinicians to the use of mindfulness-based interventions to support teens and adults living with ADHD. Participants will explore how mindfulness practices can help clients strengthen attention regulation, reduce impulsivity, manage emotional reactivity, and cultivate greater self-awareness and self-compassion. The training will examine the neurological underpinnings of ADHD and how mindfulness uniquely addresses executive functioning challenges. Clinicians will learn developmentally appropriate, trauma-informed techniques to introduce mindfulness in a way that is accessible, flexible, and empowering for neurodiverse clients.

Upon completion of this webinar, participants will be able to:

  • Describe the relationship between ADHD symptoms and the potential benefits of mindfulness-based interventions.
  • Identify at least three mindfulness practices that can be adapted for teens and adults with ADHD.
  • Apply strategies for introducing mindfulness in a developmentally appropriate, engaging, and neurodiversity-affirming manner.
