Based on the feedback we received for MORE information after the “Helping Clients Navigate Menopause” webinar, we have created a more-in-depth 2-hour CE training designed to help clinicians deepen their understanding of menopause and better support clients navigating this transformative life stage. Beyond exploring hormonal and physiological changes, this session focuses on equipping clinicians with practical, evidence-based strategies (CBT, ACT, DBT, and mindfulness) and real-world case examples to apply in therapeutic settings. Participants will walk away with tools to empower clients, normalize experiences, and foster resilience, connection, and wellness through the menopause transition.
Upon Completion of this webinar, participants will be able to:
- Explain the psychological, physiological, and social dimensions of menopause across all four stages: pre-, peri-, menopause, and postmenopausal.
- Apply evidence-based interventions (CBT, ACT, DBT, mindfulness) using case studies to address mood, cognition, and emotional regulation during menopause.
- Design client-centered strategies for setting boundaries, managing symptoms, and enhancing emotional wellness throughout the menopausal transition.
- Identify ways to advocate for menopausal clients in workplace settings and reduce stigma through education and therapeutic reframing.
