This dynamic webinar will provide you with the skills to effectively use Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), also known as tapping, in work with children and their parents. EFT is a powerful, evidence-based intervention that combines elements of cognitive-behavioral therapy, memory reconsolidation, exposure therapy, and acupressure to reduce stress and emotional overwhelm. In this workshop, we will explore how EFT can be adapted to meet the developmental needs of children while fostering stronger parent-child connections. Importantly, you will gain hands-on experience practicing tapping sequences that are both parent and child-focused.
The training emphasizes the therapeutic benefits of EFT for common challenges faced by families, such as managing anxiety, addressing behavioral outbursts, and building resilience. You will learn how to share EFT with your clients in a way that feels accessible and empowering to parents and children alike. By the end of the session, you will leave with practical tools and resources to integrate EFT into your practice, helping families navigate emotional challenges with greater ease and connection.
Upon completion of the webinar, participants will be able to:
- Identify the components of Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT)
- Explain how to use EFT with parents
- Explain how to use EFT with children
