This course explores the impact of caregiving on emotional, physical, and professional well-being, with a focus on recognizing and preventing caregiver burnout and compassion fatigue. Participants will learn to identify common signs, symptoms, and contributing factors that affect resilience in helping professions and caregiving roles. Through practical discussion and reflection, attendees will develop a deeper understanding of self-care, stress management, and protective factors that support sustainable caregiving. The course also introduces evidence-informed resilience-building strategies that participants can apply in their personal and professional lives to enhance well-being, maintain effectiveness, and foster long-term compassion and engagement in their work.
