Clinical Supervision Best Practices is a two-hour webinar designed to strengthen supervisory competence across counseling, social work, psychology, and allied mental health fields. Blending theory with practical skill-building, this session equips supervisors to cultivate strong supervisory alliances, deliver effective feedback, navigate ethical decision-making, and promote supervisee growth. Participants will engage in case-based scenarios, reflective exercises, and peer dialogue. Grounded in developmental and reflective supervision models, this webinar emphasizes cultural humility, ethical clarity, and practical tools that can be used immediately in daily supervisory practice. All helping professions working in a supervision capacity are welcomed to attend.

Evaluation / Certificate: Within 4 hours of the completion of the webinar, participants will receive an email with a link to complete an evaluation. Once completed, the participant will be able to download/print the certificate.

System Requirements: Internet and the ability to log into Zoom webinars when provided a meeting link which will be sent upon registration.

Interactive Webinar: This is a live & interactive webinar which means that participants can interact with other participants and the instructor in live time. Participants must be signed in by the webinar start time, attend the entire course, and complete the course evaluation to receive CE credit. Partial credit is not provided.

Meet Your Facilitator

Dr. Ericka Cables, Ph.D., LPC, NCC, ACS is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and an approved supervisor in Missouri. She also holds additional credentials as a nationally certified counselor (NCC) and Approved Clinical Supervisor (ACS). She has nearly a decade of experience in the mental health field as a counselor educator, trainer, researcher, clinician, and supervisor. She is an avid proponent of community-based partnerships and successfully secured several to migrate mental health needs for high-risk populations. She has conducted numerous presentations in the local St. Louis country, as well as on a national level.

Dr. Cables is trained in TF-CBT and EMDR. Her specialties include trauma, resilience, professional identity development, and clinical supervision.
