The course covers core mindfulness practices tailored for chronic pain, including present-moment awareness, nonjudgmental observation, and radical acceptance. Additional distress tolerance techniques and therapeutic interventions will be introduced, along with resources and case studies that illustrate real-world applications. Clinicians will gain practical tools to help clients build resilience, regulate emotional responses, and improve overall quality of life while living with chronic pain.

Upon completion of this webinar, participants will be able to:

  • Apply DBT mindfulness and distress tolerance strategies to help clients change their perception of chronic pain and reduce emotional reactivity and sensitivity.
  • Implement therapeutic interventions and coping strategies that promote resilience, enhance functioning, and increase clients’ ability to manage chronic pain effectively.
