Parts Work is a powerful therapeutic approach that helps clients understand and heal the different aspects of themselves, particularly those shaped by trauma, unmet needs, and internalized beliefs. This webinar will provide you with a foundational understanding of how to guide clients in recognizing, dialoguing with, and integrating their inner parts in a compassionate and healing way. Drawing from Internal Family Systems (IFS) and other ego-state therapies, we will explore practical techniques to help clients reduce inner conflict, foster self-leadership, and create internal harmony. Through experiential exercises and case applications, you will gain skills to use Parts Work effectively in clinical practice.
Upon completion of this training, participants will be able to:
- Identify the core concepts of Parts Work, including the roles of protector, wounded, and exiled parts in psychological functioning.
- Describe how to facilitate conversations between a client’s Self and their parts to promote healing, self-awareness, and emotional integration.
- Implement Parts Work techniques in therapy to help clients navigate inner conflicts, reduce self-judgment, and cultivate greater self-compassion.
