This training provides an overview of the Developmental Model of Couples Therapy, which emphasizes growth and change as key aspects of healthy relationships. It explores stages of couples’ development, differentiation, and attachment dynamics. Participants will learn how to assess and address common challenges in couples therapy using a developmental lens. The training also highlights tools for fostering resilience, mutual understanding, and connection.
Upon completion of this training, learners will be able to:
- Explain the stages of couples’ development and their impact on relationship dynamics.
- Analyze the role of differentiation and attachment in fostering healthy relationships.
- Identify areas of developmental stagnation and design interventions to address them.
