NBCC Provider Approval Statement

CE Training Workshops, LLC has been approved by NBCC as an Approved Continuing Education Provider, ACEP No. 7091. Programs that do not qualify for NBCC credit are clearly identified. CE Training Workshops, LLC is solely responsible for all aspects of the programs.

NCASPPB – North Carolina Addictions Specialist Professional Practice Board Provider Approval Statement

NCASPPB accepts all courses (live/in-person & online/asynchronous training) offered by an approved NBCC provider. CE Training Workshops, LLC is an NBCC-approved provider #7091.

ASWB ACE Provider Approval Statement

CE Training Workshops, LLC, #1770, is approved to offer social work continuing education by the Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB) Approved Continuing Education (ACE) program. Organizations, not individual courses, are approved as ACE providers. State and provincial regulatory boards have the final authority to determine whether an individual course may be accepted for continuing education credit. CE Training Workshops maintains responsibility for all courses. ACE provider approval period: 8/2/2022 to 8/2/2023.

CE Broker Approval Statement

CE Training Workshops is an approved provider through CE Broker #50-29907 with the Florida Board of Clinical Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, and Mental Health Counseling AND SC Labor Licensing Regulation.

CE Training Workshops, LLC, is fully committed to conducting all activities in strict conformance with the National Board of Certified Counselors (NBCC) Ethics Principles, and the Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB) requirements for Approved Continuing Education (ACE) providers; social work ethics, conduct, and values under applicable jurisdictional laws; and its mission.

CE Training Workshops will comply with all legal and ethical responsibilities to be non-discriminatory in promotional activities, program content, and in the treatment of program participants. The monitoring and assessment of compliance with these standards will be the responsibility of the Owner & Training Development Officer of CE Training Workshops in consultation with the CE Social Work consultant. It is the responsibility of the Owner & Training Development Officer in consultation with the CE Social Work Consultant to monitor and assess compliance of CE Training Workshops (CE) Program with Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB) requirements for Approved Continuing Education (ACE) providers; social work ethics, conduct, and values under applicable jurisdictional laws; and its mission.

While CE Training Workshops, LLC goes to great lengths to assure fair treatment for all participants and attempts to anticipate problems, there will be occasional issues that come to our attention that require intervention and/or action. This procedural description serves as a guideline for handling such grievances.

When a grievance arises pertaining to CE Training Workshops, LLC or process, the complainant is expected to notify the Owner & Training Development Officer, either by phone or in writing, as soon as possible so that the nature of the concern may be addressed in a timely fashion. When the grievance involves a social worker, the Owner & Training Development Officer and the CE Social Work Consultant will review complaints. The written response will document the complaint/grievance and the involvement of the Social Work CE Consultant in the discussion and resolution of the issue.

All possible care will be taken to uphold the confidentiality of the complainant. The Advisory Board will formulate a response to the complaint and recommend action if necessary, which will be conveyed directly to the complainant. For example, a grievance concerning a speaker will be conveyed to that speaker and also to those planning future educational programs. A grievance concerning a workshop offering, content, facilities, or costs may be resolved by modifications to future offerings, and/or by providing an alternative training opportunity, should that be possible.

Confidential records of all grievances, the process of resolving the grievance, and the outcome will be kept in locked files of the Owner & Training Development Officer. All applicable written complaints/grievances and the CE Program’s written response to the complaints/grievances are also reported to the ASWB ACE approval renewal application.

For our live webinars, the presenter will post a link in the chat box at the end of the presentation for you to complete the electronic evaluation. You will be able to download your certificate upon submitting the evaluation. For our online training/self-study modules, once you have completed viewing the training, there will be a quiz link embedded in the webpage that you will select and complete. You will then be able to download and save/print your certificate of completion.

Once a certificate has been issued to a participant, refunds are not available. If you are unable to access the webinar/on-demand course due to internet issues, refunds are not available. If you are not satisfied with a course, please send your request for consideration of a refund explaining in detail your concerns to [email protected] and we will review and make our decision based on other participant completion comments.

For Live & Interactive webinars you can cancel for a full refund (minus the 3% processing fee) 72 hours prior to the training. If you cancel within 72-24 hours of the training, a credit may be issued at the owner’s discretion. If you cancel within 24 hours of the training, no refund will be granted.

If you are reporting that you did not receive the join meeting information and CE Training Workshops is able to provide you with proof of send (screenshot indicating date/topic/your email address as entered at the time of purchase), a refund will not be provided as CE Training Workshops is not responsible for firewalls and email settings that may prevent your receiving the email.

Note: for our 2-day live & interactive webinars, the refund policy is different in that the participant must contact us no later than 10 business days prior to the event to cancel their registration for a refund (minus the 3% processing fee). If any training materials (book, training manual, etc.) have already been received by the participant at the time of cancellation, the cost of the materials and shipping/handling fees will be deducted from the refund amount (cost varies by event).

To cancel your registration for a live & interactive webinar, please email [email protected] and the appropriate action (refund or credit) will be applied.

Unfortunately, we cannot issue refunds for On-Demand (Asynchronous) webinars due to the fact that once purchased, the participant has access immediately to all materials. Refunds will also not be issued due to the technical limitations of the participant. We provide detailed instructions, and we are happy to assist in this area to a reasonable extent; however, we don’t have the staff to guide you through every step of the process.

By registering for a workshop, you agree to be added to our Workshop email list and course announcements. You may unsubscribe from this at any time. Our notifications and/or newsletter are always sent via secure customer relationship management software. This software maintains the confidentiality of your email address so that others cannot see it. We promise never to sell or share any of your information ever.

CE Training Workshops, LLC is not responsible for technological issues (inability to access/join the course due to computer firewalls and/or internet speed/bandwidth) and a refund will not be provided in this event for the purchase of either a live webinar or an on-demand/self-study course. We are available to help you troubleshoot as best we can, but we do not have an IT program so will not be able to provide professional advice on how to manage the issue.

But what if I didn’t receive the information to join/access the meeting?

For live webinars, we send out the necessary information for participants to join the meeting along with other supplemental information 48 hours prior to the event start time to provide for a successful experience. However, sometimes our emails ([email protected] or [email protected]) will end up in a spam/promotions/quarantine folder depending on the email security settings of the receiver. Therefore, if CE Training Workshops, LLC is able to provide proof of send (such as a screenshot of the original email with receiver email and time/date stamp), CE Training Workshops, LLC will not be responsible for providing a refund. Any credit provided toward a course in the future will be at the discretion of management. Please be sure to check the folders mentioned prior to contacting CE Training Workshops, LLC.
