Transforming Family Dynamics and Resilience: Solution Focused Brief Therapy in Action
$45.00
Please join us for a learning experience that will assist you to gain insight into how Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) can move families out of the problem and into a future place when past conflict no longer impacts their daily lives. Learn specific and intentional interventions to identify resilience and focus on life in the absence of the problem. Discover the most effective way to use scaling, specifically to assess each member’s perspective on the family communication to move them into resilient, solution focused interactions and healing.
Upon completion of the training, participants will be able to:
- State the difference between problem solving and solution building, specifically when working within a family system and define the family system within the SF model.
- Identify at least two interventions and questions in SFBT that can be used to assist the family to focus on a future in the absence of the problem.
- Describe ways that scaling identifies each family member’s perspective on challenging dynamics and provides intentional steps away from the problem.
