Target Audience: This course is designed for behavioral health clinicians including social workers, addictions counselors, and other mental health professionals.
Course Level: The course was developed for social workers and other mental health professionals at all the beginning and intermediate practice levels.

This webinar is based on the book by Janet Thomas “The Ethics of Supervision & Consultation”. Participants will learn about the ethical practice of supervision and standards for supervision; examine psychotherapy-based models of supervision and the ethical challenges that can present; review boundaries and multiple relationships; and explore the nuances of group supervision and mandated supervision.
We will also experience the VARK questionnaire which helps identify learning style(s) in order to adapt your supervision to meet the learning needs of your supervisee. (For example, Kinesthetic learners don’t always teach kinesthetic learners well!)
