Overcoming Imposter Syndrome in Social Work: Tools for Confidence and Competence (2HR)

This course helps social workers identify and overcome feelings of imposter syndrome that can  affect their professional confidence. Participants will explore practical tools to reframe negative self talk, enhance self-awareness, and build confidence to deliver competent and effective care to clients. 

Upon completion of this training participants will be able to:

  • Identify the root causes of imposter syndrome in mental health professionals. Explain the impact of imposter syndrome on professional performance. 
  • Apply strategies to reframe negative self-perceptions. 
  • Evaluate their own levels of confidence and competence in practice. 

Social workers completing this course receive 2 General Skill Building asynchronous continuing education credits.

For other board approvals, this course qualifies for 2 hours of General Skill Building continuing education training.
