Overcoming Imposter Syndrome 2.0: Deep Dive – Advanced Strategies for Mental Health Professionals (2HR)
his advanced training expands on the foundational “Overcoming Imposter Syndrome” course, focusing on deeper psychological, systemic, and workplace factors that reinforce
self-doubt. Using advanced CBT, ACT, and mindfulness techniques, participants will explore the role of perfectionism, ethical dilemmas, and professional hierarchies in imposter syndrome. Interactive activities, including guided reflection, structured exercises, and chat-based discussions, will help participants develop a personalized resilience plan without breakout groups.
Upon completion of this training, participants will be able to:
- Analyze systemic and internal contributors to imposter syndrome.
- Identify and challenge self-doubt patterns using CBT and ACT techniques.
- Implement mindfulness and self-compassion strategies for confidence.
- Examine how imposter syndrome influences clinical decision-making and supervision.
- Develop a structured growth plan for professional resilience.
Social workers completing this course receive 2 Clinical asynchronous continuing education credits.
