emotional, and physical impacts of perimenopause and menopause on women’s mental
health. Participants will learn to assess for menopause-related influences during client
evaluations, integrate targeted therapeutic interventions, and build referral networks to
support holistic care.

Upon completion of the training, participants will be able to:

  • Identify common and uncommon mental health symptoms associated with perimenopause and menopause.
  • Apply effective assessment tools and clinical questions to evaluate menopausal influences on client symptoms.
  • Utilize evidence-based interventions to support women navigating perimenopause and menopause, while integrating psychoeducation and community-based referrals into treatment planning.

Social workers completing this course receive 2 Clinical asynchronous continuing education credits.
