This course equips mental health and wellness professionals with the tools to support clients through the physical, emotional, and social changes of menopause. Covering all four phases—premenopause to postmenopause—it emphasizes destigmatization, empowerment, and connection.

Participants will learn evidence-based strategies including CBT, ACT, mindfulness, and lifestyle interventions, along with practical tools to manage symptoms and foster resilience. Case studies and interactive discussions will deepen understanding and enhance application in clinical practice.

Upon completion of this training, participants will be able to:

  • Understand the 4 phases of menopause and their hormonal impacts on physical, psychological, emotional, and social health.
  • Foster care and connection by destigmatizing menopause and empowering clients.
  • Utilize evidence-based strategies, practical tools, and case studies to support clients in managing menopause symptoms and navigating this life transition effectively.

Social workers completing this course receive 1.5 Clinical asynchronous continuing education credits.

For other board approvals, this course qualifies for 1.5 hours of Clinical continuing education training.
