This course examines the unique mental health challenges faced by Generation Z (individuals born from 1997 to 2012) and the implications of recent research on mental health practices. Participants will explore the influences of technology, social media, and cultural shifts on the mental well-being of Gen Z, while also considering practical strategies for mental health professionals.

Upon completion of this training, participants will be able to:

  • Identify key characteristics of Generation Z and their mental health implications.
  • Summarize recent research findings on Gen Z’s mental health challenges.
  • Discuss the role of social media and technology in shaping Gen Z’s mental health.
  • Develop practical strategies for supporting the mental well-being of Gen Z.
