Description
If you are already familiar with the Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), an evidence-based type of energy psychology, but want to take your skills to the next level, then this training is for you. We’ll dive deeper into issues that were covered in the introductory training such as addiction, chronic pain, anxiety and trauma. We’ll also explore in detail the Choices Method, the Nine Gamut Procedure, the impact of secondary gain on client progress, and how to assist clients in finding the right words to say while they tap.
Upon completion of this training, participants will be able to:
- Utilize clinical EFT strategies to address issues such as anxiety, PTSD, chronic pain, and addiction
- Educate clients on how EFT can provide relief from distressing memories
- Develop treatment protocols to use with clients that incorporate EFT
- Describe the Choices Method
- Identify how the Nine Gamut Procedure can be utilized in symptom reduction
Social workers completing this course receive 3 General asynchronous continuing education credits.
For other board approvals, this course qualifies for 3 hours of General Skill Building continuing education training.
