This course is designed for mental health clinicians to explore and integrate self-compassion into their practice and personal well-being. Participants will engage in theoretical exploration, practical exercises, and case study discussions to enhance their understanding of self-compassion as a key component of emotional resilience. This course will equip clinicians with therapeutic strategies to foster self-compassion in themselves and their clients, particularly in addressing societal expectations and personal narratives that impact women’s wellness.
Course Objectives
Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to:
Define self-compassion and its significance in mental health practice.
Identify common barriers to self-compassion and develop strategies to address them. Apply therapeutic interventions to cultivate self-compassion in themselves and their clients. Develop strategies for integrating self-compassion into daily practice.
