The “No Cap” Adolescent Update: Cultural Considerations and Implications for Individual and Family Work with Generation Z (3HR) Presented by Danielle Doskocil,

$45.00

Generation Z’s post-pandemic culture includes rapid technological advances and mind-boggling trends that baffle mental health clinicians almost as much as their parents. As a result, helping professionals are faced with shifting theoretical approaches, clinical techniques, and cultural considerations to meet the needs of these clients and their families. This training will provide updated information on Generation Z’s culture, theoretical applications, and specific needs to ensure we are meeting these clients where they are while ensuring inclusivity and understanding when bridging the gap with older family members.

Upon completion of the training, participants will be able to:

  • Articulate the unique factors specific to Generation Z’s worldview that impact clinical mental health work.
  • Apply counseling theories and techniques through a culturally competent lens when working with Generation Z clients and their families.
  • Analyze their preparedness to provide culturally responsive care to this unique population.

Social workers completing this course receive 3 Cultural Competency asynchronous continuing education credits.

For other board approvals, this course qualifies for 3 hours of Cultural Competency continuing education training.
