This course offers 3 Online CE Hours of GSB (EBT)(PSY)

Target Audience: Psychologists, Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselors, Licensed Clinical Social Workers, Licensed Clinical Addictions Specialists, Certified Alcohol & Drug Counselors, Licensed Marriage & Family Therapists

Course Level: The course was developed for social workers, addictions professionals, and other mental health professionals at all the beginning and intermediate practice levels.

In this training we will discuss an overview of “personality” and “disorders” from a historical perspective; explore the psychological & genetic factors of each disorder; review the DSM V criteria and how to apply to determining a diagnosis and treatment such as pharmacology and therapy.

Upon completing this training, participants will be able to:

Determine the difference between the Fearful Personality Disorders & Discuss the history of PD diagnoses

Identify the Psychological & Genetic Factors of each disorder

Analyze & Conceptual the DSM – V Clinical Criteria and Definitions of Each Disorder:  Determining a Diagnosis

Assess Working with Fearful Personality Disorders –  Implementing Pharmacology and Therapy

Identify & Implement Effective Treatments for Working with and Managing Personality Disorders
