For a clinician, it can challenging and emotionally fraught when working with a client who has suicidal ideation. In addition, the clinician has to consider the ethical and legal issues that are connected with a suicidal client. In this training, we will explore suicide assessment, treatment, and management in order that clinicians can feel more comfortable and confident in working with this type of crisis situation.

  • Describe how to manage suicidality using various treatment modalities
