This webinar aims to provide participants with a comprehensive understanding of the developmental change. We will explore the various stages that couples go through in their relationship development. This includes early bonding, the establishment of a partnership, challenges in midlife, and potential transformations in later stages. We will define and elucidate the concept of differentiation within couples and discuss how the ability to maintain individuality while being in a relationship contributes to healthy partnerships. We will examine different attachment styles in couples and their impact on relationship dynamics and discuss how recognizing and understanding these styles can enhance communication and connection. Finally, we will clarify the distinctions between behavioral and developmental change in the context of couples therapy and discuss how behavioral changes might address immediate concerns, while developmental changes involve more profound shifts in the couple’s dynamics over time.

Upon completion of this training, participants will be able to:

  • Understanding Developmental Stages
  • Identify Differentiation in Couples
  • Education Clients on Attachment Styles
  • Different Behavioral and Developmental Change
