In this comprehensive course, we will explore DBT intervention through Individual Psychotherapy, DBT Skills Training, and how to implement various skills into everyday sessions. We will explore the core assumptions of DBT and the science behind DBT through a series of videos and technique practice of several of the basic & advanced DBT skills.

Upon completion of this training, participants will be able to:

Define the core concepts of DBT therapy

Identify the different types of DBT modules used in skills training and what behavioral health issues they address

Determine skills that can be used in everyday therapy sessions

Practice for implementation of various skills that can be used in everyday therapy sessions
